With regular CEO Update Webinars, quarterly Regional Members' Networking Dinners and Business Lunches, annual events such as the UK Conference or the European FEDESSA Conference & Trade Show, training sessions, complimentary Hot Topic Webinars and Sector Forums, there is plenty happening throughout the year.
CEO Update Webinars
Rennie Schafer, CEO of the SSA UK hosts a monthly members only complimentary webinar at midday on the first Thursday each month via Zoom. Register for these regular and informative sessions for the latest industry and member updates.
Regional Members' Networking Dinners
In addition to the annual conferences, Winter Workshop and Golf Day, the SSA UK organises quarterly, informal, regional members' networking dinners within the UK which allow members to keep up to date on matters such as changes to legislation and security procedures.
Training for Members
Our regular training sessions are designed specifically for those working in self storage including staff and managers. Held throughout the year on topics that matter the most to your business, they are led by industry experienced professionals and are either delivered online via Zoom or in a live workshop environment.
Hot Topic Webinars
Regular topical webinars are delivered via Zoom on a complimentary basis to members. Recent topics have included; Crime Prevention, Cyber Security, Auctions & Clearance, Understanding and Selling Customer Insurance and Sustainable Self Storage.
Annual FEDESSA Conference & Trade Show
The next FEDESSA Conference & Trade Show will be held at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre in Rotterdam from 24 to 26 October 2023. With our usual two full days of informative topics this a not to be missed event with the the largest trade show outside of the USA.
Annual SSA UK Conference
The 2023 event will be held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Tuesday, 16 & Wednesday, 17 May. The conference includes a Trade Show and an on-site Container Park. We will also the launch the UK Annual Industry Report 2023 and announce the winners of the the annual UK Industry Awards durng the evening dinner. Further information will be published shortly.
Winter Workshop
The annual Winter Workshop consists of two days of business speakers and networking with some fantastic skiing during the day. The 2023 Workshop will be held from 5-8 February in St Anton, Austria.
Golf Day
The annual member's 'Golf Day' will be held on Friday, 30 June 2023 at the Little Aston Golf Club located within the little Aston Park Private Estate in Sutton Coldfield. It is ranked No. 39 in the latest Golf World Top 100 UK Inland Courses and is renowned for the quality of its fairways and greens.
Sector Forums
Sector Forums provide an opportunity for members to network, share best practice, discuss the challenges, trends, opportunities and the latest news during the UK Legal, Security, Containers, Women in Business and Technology & Innovation meetings.
