Craig Conway

Janus International Europe

An engineer by trade, Craig has worked in the manufacturing industry for more than 20 years. He joined Janus as their International Production Director in 2019, and was responsible for overseeing all production, logistics, purchasing and R&D activity for the Europe, Australia, and Asia business units. In January 2024, Craig was appointed International Director of Nokē Smart Entry – the company’s technology division. In August 2024 it was announced that Craig will take over the CEO role of Janus Europe when Colin Jeremonson retires at the end of the year. Craig has extensive experience in self storage products and solutions.

Alex Henney

Squab

Alex has 8 years of experience in the self storage industry. Alex owns and operates Squab Storage which has a growing number of locations based across the Midlands. Prior to his involvement at Squab, Alex spent almost 20 years working within the banking sector at firms such as JPMorgan, Citigroup and Credit Suisse. Alex joined the board in July 2021. Squab Storage, Evesham won Independent Store of the Year in 2021.

Rennie Schafer

SSA UK & FEDESSA

Rennie is the current CEO of FEDESSA and the Self Storage Association UK, having previously been the CEO of the Australasian Self Storage Association for over 9 years.  Rennie has extensive knowledge of the self storage industry across the world, from the developing Asian markets through to the birthplace of self storage in the USA.  He has over 27 years of association management experience, 21 at CEO level.  Rennie has an MBA from Deakin University and completed the Oxford University High performance leadership programme.
