Event Postponed - Member Experience & Networking Event – New Date: 9 September 2027
We’re sorry to let you know that, due to this being an exceptionally busy period for the self storage industry and our members, we have taken the decision to postpone our Member Experience & Networking Event, originally planned for 17 September at Squab, Leamington Spa.
The event will now take place on 9 September 2027, and we hope the new date will allow even more members to join us for an afternoon of insight, networking, teamwork and a little friendly competition!

Venue: Squab Storage, Leamington Spa
Join us for an action-packed afternoon that combines a tour of the host facility, an SSA UK update, networking, and plenty of fun activities.
We’ll begin the afternoon in the marquee with a short introduction and industry update from CEO Simon Forrester, a welcome from Alex Henney from Squab Storage, our event host and facility sponsor, followed by a health and safety briefing.
Attendees will then take part in the games on the activity field and join guided tours of the award-winning facility. Squab Storage Leamington Spa functions as a vibrant rural business community hub, not just a self storage facility. It houses unique on-site tenant businesses such as golf simulators and swimming experiences alongside professional conference facilities, flexible workspaces, dog walking fields and an on-site cafe, all born from a diversified family farm.
You’ll compete in the games in teams of four to earn points and prizes by taking on a series of entertaining challenges, including:

💪 Inflatable Swipe Out – dodge, duck, and keep moving!

🦛 Inflatable Hungry Hippos – grab, race and compete!

🏃 Inflatable Assault Course – speed, agility and determination required!

🥊 Inflatable Gladiators – battle it out to become the ultimate champion!
Whether you’re naturally competitive or simply there to laugh with fellow members and industry colleagues, there’ll be something for everyone. We’re looking for teams of four to take part in the afternoon’s activities. Teams can be made up of operators, suppliers, subscribers, partners, non-members or, preferably, a mix—so why not use the afternoon to connect with colleagues across the industry and bring together a team with a range of skills?
And there’s no need to be a sporting superstar. The activities are designed to be fun and inclusive, encouraging interaction between members and a bit of friendly rivalry. So, start thinking about who you’d like on your team and get ready to compete for some really rubbish prizes.
We’ll round off the afternoon with a BBQ, giving everyone the chance to relax, enjoy some food and drinks, and continue the networking.
Expect a day that combines learning, networking and fun – with a few bragging rights thrown in for good measure!
