Statement Regarding Pink Self Storage Limited

Pink Self Storage Limited (09998711) are not a member of the Self Storage Association Limited (SSA UK). Until recently they were on our Subscriber Scheme, a scheme designed to support operators that do not meet our standards. The Subscriber Scheme is not SSA UK membership.

We have offered significant support to Pink Self Storage Limited to map out the exact areas for improvement, and have provided detailed notes on what needs to be done before they could be considered for membership of SSA UK.

Despite several requests, Pink Self Storage failed to remove an incorrect statement on their website stating that they are:

• • Members of SSA UK
• • Compliant with our standards
• • Vetted on an annual basis

All three of these statements are incorrect.

We consider this statement to be “passing off”, i.e. by virtue of our substantial goodwill and reputation, these actions amount to a misrepresentation which is likely to lead the public to believe that the services that Pink Self Storage Limited are providing are in some way linked to our organisation. This is not the case, as we have pointed out to them on several occasions.

We have written to request that they immediately remove any reference to membership of the Self Storage Association UK from their website.

At a SSA UK Board Meeting on 25 February 2026, the proposal was put before the Board to immediately exclude Pink Self Storage Limited from SSA UK’s Subscriber Scheme. The subsequent vote was carried unanimously.

Pink Self Storage Limited have therefore been excluded from the Subscriber Scheme for breach of the relevant Terms and Conditions.
