Apply for a Board Position with the Young Storage Network!

We're thrilled to announce the opening of 4 YSN Board positions for 3 Operator Members and 1 Supplier Member.

Each position is for a two-year term, giving successful candidates the chance to contribute ideas, support YSN events and initiatives, and help ensure the network continues to represent and inspire the next generation of self storage professionals.

Being part of the YSN Board is a fantastic opportunity to build your industry profile, develop your leadership skills, connect with peers across the sector, and have a genuine voice in the direction of the Young Storage Network.

To be eligible for this fantastic opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

Be  a YSN member.

Be under 40 years of age.

Have attended at least two YSN events (in person or online) in the past year, demonstrating your familiarity with our operations.

Have been working or otherwise involved in the self storage industry for at least 2 years.

Have permission from your supervisor or manager, if required, as the role involves a time commitment for meetings, planning and strategy discussions.

Submit a short application statement of up to 250 words explaining why you would like to join the Board and what you could bring to the role.

If applications are oversubscribed, the available places will be decided by a vote of YSN members, which will take place over a two-week period.

We would encourage all eligible members to consider putting themselves forward. You do not need to have Board experience — just enthusiasm, commitment, and a genuine interest in helping the Young Storage Network continue to grow and develop.
