We have been in discussions with several operator members contacted by HMRC regarding capital allowances on containers and suspect there is a concerted campaign within HMRC to target our industry. Following a recent survey, we are working with interested parties to organise a coordinated response and develop a strategy that will protect and support all SSA members. We estimate the impact to be significant - our campaign could save the industry millions of pounds.
